NBA Card Game is a Top Trumps Game with 57 of the best NBA players of all time. Some of the NBA players are still active, so not every category (i.e. points) is always up to date on a daily basis. However, the values are updated regularly.
There are different categories per card in Top Trumps games. The player whose turn it is chooses one of the categories. The values are then compared with each other. Whoever has the better value (e.g. 3 NBA titles is better than 2 NBA titles) gets both cards. In the event of a tie, the cards are placed in a pile and the winner of the next round also receives these two cards. Whoever won the last round may choose the category in the current round. The game is over when one player has all the cards and the other has none. The player with all the cards wins the game.
Each card has four categories in this NBA top trumps game: Points, Titles, All-Star Games and Years. For all four categories, the higher value wins.
Some players played part of their career in the ABA (e.g. Julius Erving). In this case, the ABA years count the same as the NBA years in the categories Points, All-Star-Games and Years (but not Titles, due to the lack of comparability).
The player decides how many cards both players receive at the start. You can choose between 8, 12, 16 and 25 cards. You play against the computer.
